Casa GR

Introduction
The creaking wheels of the wagons can still be heard in this historic park, an extraordinary setting for four hidden houses where modernity merges with nature.
Located in the center of Treviso, in the heart of Veneto, the area is partially protected by the Fine Arts, in order to safeguard it from urbanization.
The architect's vision
"Reflection is the key word in this project," explains architect Andrea Rossetti of ARK'it. "First of all, it means attention: we chose compact and clean volumes, which do not affect the view too much, thanks also to the large windows. Sustainable materials and the latest technologies were used to create zero-impact homes. Secondly, it means physical reflection: thanks to Trespa panels, the colors of the houses change according to the sunlight and the chromatic variations of the nature of the wood itself, in a continuous dialogue with the surrounding park."
The choice of windows and doors
To preserve the original features of the place, the houses had to be perfectly immersed in it, in a constant exchange with nature, for this reason the fixtures of the Maxima collections in wood were chosen, to create a dialogue with the outside, Isos, minimal all-glass and the Xtravision sliding doors in aluminum to let the light and the greenery of the park enter inside the house too.
